Our top pick in Donegal Town
Mo Chlann Coffee & Bar
Donegal Town
Our top pick, and not just because it's on our doorstep. Mo Chlann takes their coffee seriously: speciality beans, properly made, in a warm and welcoming space that feels like it belongs here. At the weekends they shift gear into a cocktail bar, so it's as good for an evening drink as it is for a morning flat white. The name means 'my family' in Irish. You'll understand it when you're inside.
Also worth knowing
All within easy reach of the Manor
Old Stone
Main Street, Donegal Town
The best brunch spot in town. Specialty coffee, stacked pancakes, eggs Benedict, avocado toast, and a menu that changes with the seasons. Busy on weekends, worth the wait.
McBrew
The Diamond, Donegal Town
Opened in 2024 right on The Diamond. Great coffee, homemade bakes, and one of the best views in town. Light on its feet — scones, banana bread, smoothies, and a flat white done well.
Blueberry Tea Room
Castle Street, The Diamond
Family-run since 1993 and one of Donegal's most loved spots. Everything baked on the premises. Go for the scones and stay for the atmosphere.

Donegal Craft Village — 10 min walk
A short walk from the Manor at the Craft Village on the Wild Atlantic Way. Everything made fresh daily: soups, salads, homemade cakes, proper espresso. Worth combining with a browse of the artisan studios next door.
