What data we collect and why

When you make a booking

We collect your name, email address, phone number, arrival and departure dates, room preferences, and any accessibility or special requirements you provide. Payment details are processed securely by Mews Systems — we do not store card numbers. The legal basis for this processing is performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

When you buy a gift voucher

We collect your name, email address, and payment details via Giftup. The legal basis is performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

When you contact us

We collect your name, email address, phone number, and any information you include in your message. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you browse this website

We collect anonymised information about your visit via Google Analytics, including pages visited, time on site, referral source, browser type, and device information. Your IP address is processed by Cloudflare as part of our CDN and security infrastructure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
