What is a Day Two?
The Day Two is one of the best Irish wedding traditions — and the part guests remember most. It's the day after the main ceremony and reception, when the pace slows, the formalities disappear, and the real craic begins.
Think BBQs on the lawn, a buffet in the dining room, music by the fireplace, stories that didn't get told the night before. It's the day you actually get to sit down with your guests, have a proper conversation, and soak it all in.
No top table. No speeches (unless you want them). Just the people you love, in a beautiful place, with nowhere else to be.

How do we book Donegal Manor for a Day Two?
Simply contact us with your dates and group size. Your group checks in after the main ceremony and enjoys the celebration the next day. We'll tailor the stay to suit your plans.
Do you provide food for the Day Two?
Yes — our professional chef can prepare BBQs, buffets, afternoon tea, or whatever suits your celebration. You're also welcome to bring your own caterer or prepare food yourselves in the professional kitchen. Bring your own drinks too.
Is there a bar on-site?
Donegal Manor does not have a licensed bar. You're welcome to bring your own drinks. Donegal Town with its pubs and restaurants is just a 3-minute drive away.
Can non-staying guests attend the Day Two?
Yes, you can invite day guests to your celebration. There is ample space on the grounds and in the living areas. A surcharge applies for non-staying guests attending events — contact us for details.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am. We can be flexible for wedding groups — just discuss your needs when booking.
Can we have music and entertainment?
Of course — it's your celebration and you have the entire property to yourselves with no closing time. Live music, a DJ, trad session, or just a speaker and a playlist — whatever suits the mood, for as long as you like.
